Chef Bio:

Growing up as a village girl from Ohangwena region, it has been a great joy growing up in a household of around 25 mates of including siblings and relatives. Thanks to my parents for being loving human beings with unconditional love that have raised us as one big family and as much as this experience is dear to my heart, one imagines the challenge of feeding a family of 25. One this for sure we were always guaranteed a meal daily and seating together to share any meal prepared always put smiles on every child's face because thereafter having a full tummy means unending play sessions. As much as we were grateful for food more especially after a long day at school, one meal that no one really looked forward to was cooked Black Eyed beans, my auntie who normally cooked it with simply water, salt and if lucky cooking oil. She would always insist on us finishing the beans. They were not tasty, and l promised myself that I will study hard and never have to eat beans. Surprisingly, today Black-eyed beans are myfavorite, that’s why I decided to find a recipe to prepare them tastier than how I know growing up. l detested beans back then, but today you will always find a bean dish on my menu weekly.
